Matchnode is a digital health marketing agency. We build and run HIPAA-compliant paid media programs for healthcare brands on Meta, Google, and connected TV. Two co-equal pillars drive the work: creative strategy and production, and server-side tracking and compliance infrastructure.
Let’s Talk Digital Health
Matchnode is a digital health marketing agency that runs paid media for telehealth, digital therapeutics, and healthcare brands on Meta, Google, TikTok, and connected TV. We build HIPAA-compliant server-side tracking and CDP infrastructure so legal teams can sign off before campaigns go live, and we partner with in-house teams as an embedded growth function accountable to booked appointments and cost per acquired patient.
We’ve driven over four million digital health conversions, helping to improve American lives. That’s part of our mission. We’ve managed over $100 million in advertising spend across Meta ads and Google ads over our history.
“There’s no way we could grow at the rate we are or achieve the CAC we have without them. Bicycle Health is a rocket ship…we need to get the word out in a cost-effective way. I don’t know any company that can do that better than Matchnode.”
An untenable acquisition cost for Happify's pregnancy Medicaid product. Too high to scale, and too high to prove the program's value to insurers.
Matchnode redesigned the full-funnel performance test and drove acquisition cost down 93%, making the program provably scalable to payers.
You don't need another vendor sending reports. You need a team accountable to your unit economics and building the infrastructure to scale.
Full-funnel planning across Meta, Google, TikTok, and connected channels. Every campaign builds toward a scalable CAC.
CAPI, CDP onboarding, server-side event tracking, and HIPAA-compliant data architecture: from setup through continuous optimization.
Sprint-based strategic creative briefing, production, and performance analysis for healthcare-specific campaigns. UGC, static, and video, all format-native and test-ready.
Campaign architecture that reflects clinical availability, insurance acceptance, and provider licensing across every geography.
The Matchnode team, United Center, Chicago
Most digital health brands we work with already have a win. One platform, one audience, one creative is pulling. The problem is everything after that.
Bicycle Health operates without a site pixel or server-side tracking infrastructure. Matchnode rebuilt their Meta funnel using on-platform lead ads exclusively, eliminating pixel dependency entirely. The result: doubled lead volume and a 15–20% reduction in cost per lead, while maintaining full HIPAA compliance.
The Google ecosystem reaches patients at every stage of their decision, from first symptom search to conversion.
Meta finds patients and tests creative. Google captures patients already searching. The same HIPAA-compliant CAPI and CDP infrastructure powers both. One technical setup, two complementary channels.
Google has required LegitScript certification since 2018 before approving ads for addiction treatment and behavioral health providers. Without it, ads are disapproved and the account is locked out of that inventory entirely.
Most of our clients in addiction care and behavioral health arrive already certified. That certification unlocks the full range of Google ad inventory in these verticals and significantly reduces disapproval rates.
Matchnode does not assist with the LegitScript application process. We build campaigns that make full use of certification once it is in place.

Telehealth is a state-by-state business. Provider licensing, insurance acceptance, and product availability all vary, and your campaigns need to reflect it. We build campaign architectures that match your clinical availability, not just your media budget.
The technical setup that satisfies your legal team is the same setup that makes your campaigns perform. Conversions API (CAPI), the server-side replacement for browser pixels, gives Google and Meta clean, auditable conversion signals without exposing PHI.
We have implemented Customer Data Platforms across our entire client base. Your legal team gets documented, auditable compliance. Your campaigns get better data. Both outcomes come from the same technical setup.

CDP Platforms We Implement
We prefer HIPAA-compliant platforms and default to Ours Privacy, but we can work with any CDP you already have in place.

From First Call to Long-Term Growth
The 90-day sprint is how we de-risk the decision to start. Time-boxed, milestone-driven, built to test before you commit to scale.
We start the moment you sign. Most clients have campaigns already running. We take them over in week one and build better infrastructure alongside them, so media and technical setup run in parallel from day one.
The sprint is a defined, contained test. We build CAPI and tracking infrastructure, run iterative creative testing, and establish a baseline CAC. By day 90, you know exactly what is working and what it costs to acquire a patient.
After the sprint, we expand what works. Budget scales into proven creative and audiences. Technical setup deepens: new markets, new conversion events, new channels. Clients who commit to 6 or 12 months receive a discounted rate.
The best client relationships compound over time. Infrastructure matures, creative libraries deepen, and CAC continues to fall. We become an embedded part of your growth team. Faster to respond, harder to replace, and more valuable every quarter.

Get the Book →Matchnode is a performance marketing agency for digital health and healthcare brands. We run paid media programs on Meta, Google, connected TV, and other channels, and we build the HIPAA-compliant server-side tracking and CDP infrastructure that makes those programs accountable to patient outcomes and legal sign-off. Creative strategy and production sits alongside that technical work as a co-equal pillar. Sustained performance over months and years is driven by a steady pipeline of healthcare-specific creative, which we brief, produce, and analyze in tight feedback loops with the paid media. If anything, creative gets heavier over time as media-side levers get saturated.
Digital health, telehealth, and healthcare brands with a direct-to-patient acquisition motion. Our clients include virtual-first primary care, pediatric and women's mental health, menopause care, opioid use disorder treatment, men's health, and multi-state chronic care. We work best when a company has product-market fit and needs help scaling patient acquisition without breaking HIPAA or cost-per-patient targets.
Yes. We default to server-side event tracking via Meta Conversions API and Google Enhanced Conversions, and we implement a Customer Data Platform (Ours Privacy by default, or whichever CDP our client already uses) to govern what leaves the browser. Our setup is documented and auditable so legal teams can sign off before campaigns go live. See our Technical Services page for the full architecture.
Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google (Search, YouTube, Performance Max, Demand Gen) are our core platforms. We also run TikTok, connected TV, programmatic display, and paid audio (podcast ads). Less frequently: Reddit, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Bing, and Nextdoor. We are a Meta Business Partner and a Google Premier Partner. Platform mix depends on your patient journey, unit economics, and state-level availability, not on what we happen to be good at.
Matchnode measures performance on business value, not impressions or clicks. Our working metric is cost per booked appointment or cost per acquired patient, tied all the way through to the revenue moment in your patient journey by channel, campaign, and state.
Every engagement starts with identifying the specific moment in your patient journey where revenue is actually created, and pointing our signals and systems at that moment. For some clients that is a booked first appointment. For others it is a completed first visit, an in-clinic transaction, an app download, or a retention milestone further downstream.
In practice, patient privacy, HIPAA constraints, and the mechanics of how clinical and billing systems connect sometimes prevent a complete ad-to-visit link. When that happens, we build the most rigorous setup that is reasonable, we are explicit about where our visibility ends, and we keep working to close the gap.
